Busy summer off to flying mountain bike start

We were joined by an intrepid family from Denmark on a challenging three day mountain biking trip. Summer is always a busy time out in Borneo with schools expeditions and peak holiday season all hitting at once. Already one expedition team has gone having completed a great new trek in the foothills of the mountain and a community water project. At the same time an intreprid Danish family joined us for a great three days of mountain biking. Taking in tea plantations, off road jungle tracks and some gruelling days they had a great three days with us and really got the season off to a great start. The most pleasing thing was their feedback that we manage to provide a challenge for the two older lads who were seriously hard core mountain bikers, whilst making it accessible and managable for their little brother. A great combination of single track down hill, unpaved roads and tracks and a few hill climbs for good measure made for something for everyone. Another team who are working on an education program involving local Sabah students have just arrived and many more teams arrive in the next few weeks. Its exciting to see the range of amazing jungle experiences, project work and experiences which are coming together – even if it is all just a bit hectic!!
